As a long-time resident of Highland Park, Dr. Schroeder’s desire to serve her community inspired her to open up her boutique practice, Park Cities Allergy & Asthma, in 2004 after practicing in Rockwall for seven years. Since opening, she has truly enjoyed serving the allergy, asthma and immunology needs of the Park Cities and surrounding areas for the past 16 years.

Dr. Schroeder believes the key to success with patient outcomes lies in how to communicate clearly and how to implement learning strategies with her patients. She has succeeded in finding ways to empower patients with medical knowledge to help them effectively participate in their own care. Dr. Schroeder passionately believes that education is integral to health care since the mind and body functions synchronically when it comes to healing. She spends time educating her patients on their respective diseases and treatment plans at length. Dr. Schroeder prides herself on an individualized, hands-on approach to patient care, which results in not only improved quality of life, but also long-term patient/doctor relationships. Dr. Schroeder also makes herself available after hours for any emergency that may arise.

Dr. Schroeder is Board Certified by the American Board of Allergy, Asthma, and Immunology. She completed three years of residency training in Pediatrics at Children’s Medical Center in Dallas in 1995, along with her fellowship in pediatric and adult Allergy, Asthma and Immunology at the UT Southwestern Medical Center in Dallas in 1997. She is a member of the American Academy of Asthma, Allergy and Immunology and the American College of Allergy and Immunology.
